ICONIC 2026

The scientific scope of ICONIC 2026 covers community health innovation and allied health sciences. The subthemes are designed to accommodate multidisciplinary studies, evidence-based practices, policy analysis, technological innovation, professional education, and community-based interventions. The proposed subthemes are as follows:

About ICONIC

About the UF Faculty of Health Sciences International Conference

ICONIC 2026 is the first international conference organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Faletehan, aimed at fostering global collaboration in addressing contemporary health challenges. The conference emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, digital innovation, and community resilience as key drivers in transforming health systems, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
Through keynote lectures, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and parallel scientific presentations, ICONIC 2026 provides a platform for knowledge exchange and dissemination of evidence-based practices in global health.

Keynote speaker
Andra Soni, S.M., M.AP, is the Governor of Banten Province, where he directs the executive agenda across public administration, social programmes, and regional development, with emphasis on accountable governance, service delivery, and inclusive growth for communities throughout the province. His leadership role places particular weight on coordinating sectors—including health-related services, education, social protection, and local economic resilience—so that provincial policy reinforces long-term well-being, not only short-term outputs.

He joins ICONIC, hosted by Universitas Faletehan, as Keynote Speaker to connect subnational policy leadership with the conference theme of innovation in community health. His remarks are intended to highlight how provincial government can strengthen partnerships among universities, health actors, local government, and communities, and help turn research and field experience into practical programmes that benefit the people of Banten and similar regions.

Assoc. Prof. Andiko Nugraha Kusuma, M.KM., Ph.D, serves as Rector of Universitas Faletehan, where he provides institutional leadership for academic quality, stakeholder engagement, and the university’s contribution to education, research, and community service. With training grounded in public health, he champions approaches that connect evidence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical impact, particularly where higher education can support healthier, more resilient communities.

As the host institution of the International Conference on Innovation in Community Health (ICONIC), Universitas Faletehan welcomes delegates under his leadership with a commitment to open dialogue among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students. Rector Kusuma will deliver the welcome speech to open the programme, framing ICONIC as a platform to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and advance innovation that translates into tangible benefit for society.

Theme: “Interprofessional Collaboration in the Global Health System.”

Professor Linda Phyllis Sweet is Professor and inaugural Chair of Midwifery (Deakin University and Western Health partnership), Australia. A registered nurse and midwife, she has extensive experience in academic leadership, maternity services research, and midwifery education. She previously held senior roles at Flinders University, including Head of Midwifery. She is a Fellow of the Australian College of Midwives and ANZAHPE, Deputy Editor of Women and Birth, and contributes nationally to midwifery education standards and international scholarship in midwifery.

Theme: “Strengthening Community Resilience: Innovative Nursing Frameworks for Disaster Health Management in Archipelagic Regions.”

Dr. Neil Madulara Martin is an Associate Professor at the College of Health Sciences, Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), Philippines. A registered nurse with graduate training spanning nursing and related fields, he is active in health sciences research, academic leadership, and international speaking engagements. His scholarly work includes qualitative inquiry on community and youth health narratives in Mindanao. He has contributed to nursing education and professional recognition nationally, including distinction as the PRC Outstanding Professional of the Year in Nursing (2025).

Professor Dr. Regidor III C. Dioso (“Regidor Duke”) is a Professor at Lincoln University College, Malaysia, where he is affiliated with the Faculty of Nursing. His scholarship spans nursing education, health services research, and evidence-based practice, with peer-reviewed work on topics such as patient safety, nursing competencies, infection prevention, and digital learning in the health sciences. He maintains an active research profile and contributes to the international nursing literature through authorship and editorial service, including long-standing involvement with the Malaysian Journal of Nursing (MJN).
